Camp Series - Post 2 Archery

Welcome to my 2nd camp blog. Today I'm going to tell you about archery. It was a fun activity because I got to use a bow and arrow and try and hit a target. I did hit the target but it bounced off. I was feeling happy and nervous at the same time. Take a look at my DLO.

Camp series - Post 1 - Making a raft.

Welcome back. Today I will be telling you about my school camp to Waipara Adventure Centre.  My group walked to the waterhole for raft making. It was a cold day and I knew the water was going to be cold too. My group were given tubes, wood, rope and big sticks and then we were told to make a raft that floats. My group worked really hard to make our raft float. We were very lucky that our raft floated the first time we put it in the water. We all sat on the raft and went down the river. I felt very happy that it floated but worried we might tip off and land in the water.
